<p>I took the test last year as a junior after taking an IB English class that had no relation to the AP curriculum. If you’re well-read, articulate, can write in a limited amount of time, and did well on the CR section of the SAT, you’ll be fine. I got a 5 with very little prep (just reviewing the plot/themes of a few books on Sparknotes).</p>
