^75% aid??? What the hell? What’s the whole deal about the Tata Scholarship then??

Nah, there are many with full ride to Cornell: most from DPS RKP. Corbell and that school seem to be married.

@funkysatmonkey - yes u can say >90%, they do give full aid, my senior got around 96% last year! they say they have sent the fin aid packet via DHL i should receive in early next week @desperado- im from carmel junior college.!!

@ nbagga and funkysatmonkey

If u dont mind me asking how long approximately were your common app long answers??

@funkysatmonkey- they emailed u ur fin aid decision???

I kick off with a rejection from Dartmouth.

ps- sorry for the abruptness.

@nbagga- Yeah, an email entitled Cornell University Financial Aid Decision.
@violator-
My commonapp was around 800-900 and my supplement was about 1000. I know the supplement’s word limit is 500, but that didnt seem to matter. There was absolutely NO way I couldve made it any shorter and retain the voice and the idea.

Congrats.↑

Then why are they sending mine via courier!! cnt understand… my common app essay was about 1100 wrds and supplement 500.

Huh? They are? I guess I’ll have to call them then. Was there anything on the application which dealt with preferred method of communication?
Anyway, I hop you get your aid, nbagga. We shalt meet in Cornell. :D

@nbagga and @Funky
Hey, I got in COE at Cornell ED…
I am from Bangladesh and my EFC is USD 10,000
My case is similar to Funky’s. They said that they cannot provide me any aid at all. Funky, did u get reply to your e-mail of appeal yet? I didnt…
And nbagga, I am pretty sure dt u did get finaid, since u did nt receive any e-mail yet. Only d unfortunate ones received such ‘no aid’ e-mails. I got their official letter yesterday via FedEx. Lemme know any updates if possible…

Btw, I cant attend at all if they dont meet my full need…At best I can stretch my EFC to USD 15,000…thats it…I am so damn frustrated…huhhhhhhh
