<p>I am desi... but me and my family don't really watch indian movies/listen to music. i think in total i've only seen about ~7-8 movies in my life... so yeah...</p>
<p>but i really like indian music with nice beats. could you please give me some recommendations on songs, cause i typed in "good desi music" in google, and there are a kajillion results! [and none of my friends listen to indian music]</p>

<p>I probably can recognize indian songs if i hear them but i don’t know the names of them :P</p>
<p>I do have one indian pop (with a bit of english) song on my ipod though: it’s called “bluffmaster” lol…</p>
<p>oh and another one called “dhoom” goes something like, (8) dhoom machalay dhoom machalay…</p>
<p>lol i downloaded dhoom machalay, something to listen to during homework =D thanks.</p>
<p>wow! really? my parents cant stand how long the dances are [which i agree] and sometimes the movies get really long/cheap. but there are a few favorites in the fam =] i think i gen. like the songs more than the movies.</p>

<p>And there a lot of good songs from Aamir Khan movies (3 Idiots is one, so is Rang de Basanti, Ghajini, and Taare Zameen Par).</p>
<p>Kuch Kuch Hota Hai! Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge! Great songs and great movies to watch too. </p>
<p>All of A. R. Rehman’s music is good. So are the sogns from Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Both movies are amazing too, also try Jab We Met.</p>
