Merc - I am from a small place as well (orignially) and have lived in small places all my life (except for now!!)
wow, good to see some boarding school fellas - its cool!!
Nomad - i m sure u know how the desi network works :) esp. once u in the US

Yeah those protests against language ban is kinda 'out there', its good reading!!

adides,

btw - radhika, welcome aboard!

Also, talking about fascism, SUCH (or ne1 else) - do u have any opinions on arundhati roy?? (bengoli-bengoli connexion) I kind of liked her when she came out with her book and when she stood up the narmada bachaon ppl (although i didnt agree with her) but boy has she gone haywire or what?? I read some of her recent comments and was kinda taken aback. Would be interested in knowing how ppl in our leftish states feel about her.

ritz - so u went to delhi when i came to bbay (so tht we can distribute possible harvard acceptees geographically ;))

ritz - i am curious what u doing these days. Coz unlike us, u all set - cant imagine how chillin ur life is. Do you even have to care about boards nemore?? Man, if i were in ur shoes - i'd go out each and every night and rock the town..

I would love to not care about the boards but i have to send in a mid-year report ...moreover who do i party with...all my friends are too busy studying for these dumb exams...

mercurysquad: they said that they would post the result in 2-3 weeks, not months. I was in a blue jacket. anyway, international students can't even see scores online, but we can order additional reports. i called them up for my ACT ID number. anyway, i still dunt know the breakup, just saw the composite.

hey merc I need some C++ graphics for my computer project (unfortunately I'm too busy completing the rest of my apps), do you have any code on your PC?
