adides-in response to the arundhati roy thing a few posts back, i couldnt get through a god of small things when it came out and ever since i haven't taken any interest at all in what she says or does.
As for leftist states, well yeah WB is leftist but Cal is not communist per se so I wouldnt be able to give a reliable opinion on that anyway.

Oh my god!! Do you know how to send additional score reports OVER THE WEB (or ANY faster method - phone in etc.) ?? Cuz if I have to do it via mail, I'm seriously screwed up!! :(

hello: sorry man, the only C++ I know is from school, and they teach more of object oriented programming concepts and less of C++ or hardware specific things like graphics (because we have the option to answer questions either in java or c++).

In short, sorry I don't have c++ graphics routines. I do have MIDI file i/o routines in C++ and and audio/midi routines in .net and vb6 if you want ;)

Did you guys apply to Yale?
If you did AND you put your prospective major as Engineering, then IMO your chances at Yale are very high.

Why do you say so?? I put engineering as my major.

Also, at Columbia - engineering admit rate is in 30% something. fyi

mercurysquad: Go to www.actstudent.org--> FAQ--> then there is a link on the left for Comment forms---> click testing outside the US comments--> fill the form and ask them for your ACT ID number--> after that you can order scores online, but you can't see Early scores

but at Columbia : the total cost comes to around 60K so getting financial Aid is pretty impossible.

i got this from columbia's website - it seems tht the total cost is around $40k and not 60k
For the academic year 2003-2004, the breakdown of billed costs is as follows:

Tuition
$28,686

Room and Board*
$8,802

Mandatory Fees
$1,102

post no #999 Best of luck for pre-boards......

1000
lets go for it :D
signing out for tonight xox
