Living expenses for students are calculated at $1600 per month for the 2003-2004 year. Some scholars require special equipment or supplies which will add to the amount.

1600X12 = $19200

hello - 1600/mo. is a bit too much. My bro. lives in nyc and i can assure u tht if u are a student, u can live with way less than $1600

ravi - hey man, been waiting on the 1000th so tht i can steal it ;)
gotta go - have two preboards toms

hey who here reads dan brown?

1600 per month? w t f? - that means u are one of ambanis' grandsons...u can live off 500 normally ;)

Hey Laila i am readng the Da Vinci code right now.

COngrats on the 1000 post adides! ;)

Oh btw 1600 is the total living expenses for the year i think if you are staying at a dorm.

ok all those who applied to penn, where did you send the finaid forms: office of admission or student financial services? their website is pretty cryptic on the matter

nomad.. hows it goin? i absolutely ADORE danny!!!

yay 100 posts....finally..

danny!!??? :)
I have read Da Vinci Code as well. Man, it is pretty captivating. If you like the code, you might also want to read angels and demons by him. Similar writing style, captivating and well written.

Such - I have sent it to the office of students financial service

Nomad - i think 1600/yr is a bit too less. I think $500-$800 per month (depending on where u are) is a good estimate. Places like NY, CA where state taxes are 8% are usually more expensive than FL, TX etc. where there are no state taxes

Princeton financial aid.
If we fill the forms online, do we still have to submit International student financial aid application??

nope I dont think so.
Problem is the link to the online PFAA hasnt been working for two days :(

oops sorry i mean 300 bucks- 4000 bucks is the norm, sorry guys.. Btw Adides 1600 for northwestern. Dont know why.

Wow i am almost done with Danny boys favorite book and i must say i am impressed. I must say its one of the best books i have read since harry potter and Atlas Shrugged.

anyone read george r r martin here?

4000$ seems a bit too much...Williams estimates living expenses to be 1200$ per year (excluding food)...but Williams is in a village, so I don't know how that'll count

hey gandalf you obviously like sf and f. Cool me too!
never read george martin though, should i start?

George R.R.Martin is prolly the greatest fantasy writer to date...definitely a notch above Tolkien and the other mortals. Of course you should start !

P.S. I advise you not to start now though. Each book is about 900 pages long (he's written 3 in the 7-book series) and unputdownable-they'll eat up your time

P.S #2: Don't mind me. I give bad advice ;)

gandalf - Williams estimates living expenses to be 1200$ per year (excluding food)

I think there must be some mistake coz i would doubt that there is any village in the US, which would charge $100/mo for rent+utilities+misc.
