what kind of question is that???

prolly because the resistance acts as a bridge - the circuit would remain incomplete without the resistor (a flyover provides an alt. pathway, doesn't it?)

to seriously answer the question, it's called a bridge coz a bridge is a wooden support to hold strings together

if its good - why not. a 6% drop aint tht bad since most of the adcoms know tht we have been busy studyin for sats, apps, etc..

a drop from 83.6 to 77.2?
(83.6 is top 1 %,77.2 is top 7%)

hmm. if u feel tht ur results on 2/18 will be better than 77% just email the adcoms tht u will be submitting ur midterm grades on 18th. when u send the grades in, send a copy of the sent email alongwith to make sure tht they dont feel tht u have 'broken a rule' by not sendin in before the 15th.
