You have amazing grades! looks like you can get into all these colleges. But could you please share for which class you are applying. That is, have you already applied? in that case you will be Class of 2018. But if you are applying for Class of 2019, you still have time and you might want to increase your SAT scores, especially writing and CR. For most of these universities, they seem to be ok but still.

Since you are in 12th now, if you have already applied, don’t worry. Just keep your finger crossed and wait!. If you are planning to apply for next year and take a gap year now, try to work on your SATs and take up some internships (preferably in the area you want to major in).

Even I am from AP and I know how hectic the state board is. You probably didn’t have time to do many extra-curriculars. But do not worry, the colleges will understand this.

@conscience13: Thanks mate for replying to my post. I don’t want to take a gap. I’ve already applied to these universities for the class of 2018 ( fall-2014 entry). I know my SAT score is less, but I was wondering whether it would be overlooked for my grades and other stuff ? I’m really scared as I haven’t got a single admission decision yet. So I’m just freaking out think of other safety colleges…It would be great if I get an acceptance from at least one of them…

Which course are you applying to?

Don’t worry! your school grades are AMAZING! there are some who do not do the SATs well, and I am sure the adcoms will understand that. After all, it is just one component of the entire application process.

When are the decisions supposed to be released. It is just late January so it is pretty early.

I am applying for an Economics major but want to minor in international relations or psychology too.

@sanjay: I’ve applied to computer Science major.

@Conscience13: Thanks dude, your words come as relief to me at this point of time!
Best of luck to you too. Meanwhile, I wanna major in computer science with a minor in Business studies.
