A level physics is NOT.....NOT at all easier than CBSE
I didnt mean the CBSE...

i hope u were talkin abt british A levels
I dont really know who gets to name their syllabus as A-levels. The MATH syllabus in the info NTU gave me was called 'A-Level'

And I never compared English to CBSE, i compared it to the TOEFL, SAT, and general English Proficiency that is expected in international admissions. Phy and Eng werent claimed to be A-Level, as i already said before

P.S. im gettin credits worth 1 entire year even frm a skool like MIT cuz of A levels... do u get the level of difficulty NOW atleast?
I concede the A-levels at least give you credit for what you know. As for diffficulty, have you seen the syllabus for the IITJEE? Thats what im comparing it against. CBSE Math and Science is the bare minimum, like your regular courses. THe whole damn problem about the Indian educational system is that you work your ass off for years learning stoff which is way above the syllabus of the exams which give you the credits (CBSE, etc) and there arent many ways to show that. I cant very well write in my college app that i spent the last few years studying higher stuff than my board requirements with the aim opf clearing the JEE, can I??

Oh, yes, ive all but given up on all non-indian unis. Guess im destined for the IIT.

IM A SENIOR MEMBER!!!!!!!!!!

ok...the place is still gloomy cuz of the rejections...no celebrations. Time to mourn.
