<p>And S_Rao: I agree with you abt the research and availability of college level courses in India. BUT I feel, apart from the medalists and RSI scholars the students who get in : are academically well accomplished (rao), techy (merc) and excellent all round (adi and akash) and students who just 'click' with the adcoms. The process is extrememly subjective and there are so many uncertainties. </p>
<p>so here i am studyin bio...and i hate it...i also know tht i am not going to use bio (hopefully!) ever...but i am still studyin it...why? coz i have no option ... tht is why i want to go to brown.
@ brown, its totally open flexible course curricullum. u dont like something, u dont tk it. if u want to major in latin, for four years all u can do is tk only latin, w/o a single economics or sciences. u wont know nething else, but damn u will know everything about latin.
