<p>I know several people who are writing JEE with no parental pressure.</p>
<p>At the beginning of 11 when I was wide eyed and idealisticI wanted to write the exam sincerely too but over the past two years I've realized that engineering isn't my cup of tea.Also I wasnt prepared to sacrifice 2 years of my life in pursuit of IIT. Which is why it is purely an obligation.</p>
<p>things are particularly bad for me coz my sis is an IITian ( she and half the bloody family :mad: )</p>
<p>I am writing the exam with no parental pressure, and preparation has mostly been my initiative (hell, it was always my call)</p>
<p>The obligation with me isnt about writing it - its about clearing it</p>

<p>sucharita, well yeah I can understand the pressure half of my cousins are too. I really wanted to make my mark in computers and looking back at the last too years all I can say is that I fell really left behind.</p>
