What factors do you consider while choosing a university?

I am State cycling champion (gold, silver, bronze) and national participant.
I cleared two rounds of Regional Maths Olympiad and secured 22nd position in north west region.
I don’t know how to convert % into gpa,
otherwise in class CBSE 10th i got 95%, 90% in 11th and 12th result isn’t out yet of first term.
I will apply for financial aid to those colleges which are need blind. Otherwise i will continue without financial aid eventhough it would be difficult.
Kindly tell me my chances at imperial (1st choice), camb and ox, and what else i need.

bump…

carreshwell: If you’re applying to the UK, I’d suggest you look at each university’s website: that should tell you if you meet their requirements or not.
Second, UK unis don’t really give financial aid to international students [unless you’re extremely lucky].

You also seem like a good candidate for US universities so maybe try for that too? Good luck!!

For UK, I suggest you take the A-Levels.

Pesonally, you should also apply to need-based US unis because you seem like a good candidate. If you can pull off more than decent scores in your SATs then you can get upto 100% scholarship even in need-based US unis.
