Indiana (Kelley) or Georgetown (McDonough) for Business

What would you guys recommend? Which one is better for business and will be the better undergraduate degree?

Anyone...?

they are ranked similarly i believe, with Georgetown being a better overall school but Indiana having a higher ranked B-school. apply to both :)

I think that they are both good schools. I think Georgetown would be much harder to get in, though.
Have you looked at other good business schools? UT, UMich, UNC, UPenn, UVA, USC, etc?

Indiana only if youre instate.

Georgetown > Indiana

in all circumstances, unless you need money that only Indy will give you

i dont think you could beat D.C. for internships and such...so Georgetown!

Thanks, a friend of mine is choosing Indiana over Georgetown for business, because he said they rank ahead of Georgetown in everything for business, and I thought he was nuts, because Georgetown will open up oppurtunities for you, where as Indiana won't.

Rankings aren't everything. Not even close

i say georgetown :)

It depends on what you want. Obviously, Georgetown is more prestigious and opens more doors if your intent is to work in the East Coast, especially with Investment Banks and Consulting Companies. However, if you want a beautiful campus is a small college town with great school spirit and a typical college atmosphere, and if you intend to work for a large manufacturing company in the Midwest or West Coast, Indiana may be a better option. Personally, I would recommend Georgetown, but that's just a personal preference.
