Hey

I am going to be an incoming freshmen next year, and I just had a generic questoin about dorms:

Which residence hall would current student, or anybody who might have some info, do students prefer?

I understand that when applying for residence, you only apply to a neighborhood.

If there isn't really a preference, some pros and cons to living in Central V. Northwest (since those are the two neighborhoods I applied to) would be helpful.

Thanks!

Northwest region is more of the party region. It’s close to the business and psychology buildings. It’s the furthest from the science classes (southwest region). It has a good food court - Gresham.

Central region is pretty alright from what I’ve seen. Some dorms are alright, but others might not have AC which sucks when its hot. There’s Wright food court which is the biggest, so that’s a good thing. Depending on the dorm, probably closer to the science classes and ****. Also alright close the business/psychology school.
