Indiana University - Bloomington Early Action for Fall 2024 Admission

Son admitted into SPH Sports Mktg a couple of days ago. He submitted app around Ocb 15 I think. OOS, IB diploma, 3.7 UW, 27 ACT, lots of ECs.

Email came from admissions with direct admit to Kelley and direct admit to the Honors College.

His Stats: OOS UW 4.4 SAT 1520
He was also admitted to Pitt Business School with $10K/yr merit scholarship as well as guaranteed admission to their MBA program if he so chooses.

Has anyone been admitted to Public and environmental affairs?

I hope that the intl AO begins checking apps soon

Yes, my son was just admitted to Eskenazi. He applied in early October. I’m sure yours is right around the corner!

My daughter got the email from admissions announcing her direct admit to Kelley as well as direct admit to the Honors College. It’s nice to have this one so early in the admissions process. Super happy for her.

Her stats for those who may be curious:

OOS, GPA 4.3W/3.98UW, SAT 1480, 7APs.

Hi All! Congratulations to all who have heard. Just curious: anyone hear Criminal Justice, In State, most specifically North Central Indiana?

Anyone hear OOS for the media school yet?

Yes - direct admit OOS for the Media School.

Not yet–daughter is checking everyday

Still no answer for us either. Starting to get worried. Her stats are good so I can’t imagine that she would be rejected but then again who knows?

You should have zero fear. I feel for all the anxiety this all creates. And especially when only 25% of everyone posting acceptance will even attend. There are so many variables to big school admission including AO, the specific college at the University finishing its inputs, the software compatibility with the high school (i.e. Naviance), the verification of something. There is no correlation between those accepted with someone being denied right now. That would be something around Jan 15 and even then you’d almost certainly be deferred at IU. Not hearing right now only means not yet completed by IU admissions review.

same here! causes so much stress

When did you apply?

Congrats! I guess the requirement of 1500+ for admission to the honors college is flexible!

Early - like mid to late September. Hang in there!

My daughter also got email about Kelley direct and Honors college admissions. In the email it talk about filling General Scholarship Application, is it same as SSA application?

Has anybody received any updates on review request to Kelley? Last year, applicants were getting IU admissions in October and review request decisions in 6 weeks so about now. I wish we knew if the 6 week period got shorter. My D applied to IU in early September and petitioned on Sept 20. It’s been over 2 months.
