Indiana University Chances?

So i got denied from Wisconsin, my top choice, but all of my backup schools are california schools. Despite the fact that ive gotten into most of them, the UC system is messed up and my parents are making me leave california, so ive decided to send a last minute app to Indiana University Bloomington. I have approx a 3.5 cum GPA (my transcript GPA only shows unweighted), and a 28 ACT as well as extracurriculars such as special olympics volunteer, honors society, California Scholarship Federation, and many sports and many AP classes. I have a feeling my chances are pretty high because some of my smart, but possibly less qualified friends were accepted and this late in the year, I just want to know where I am going.

It seems like you have a pretty high chance. TONS of kids I know from my school went to IU with worse GPA’s and test scores

I got in to Indiana, as did my friend who had a 3.7 GPA and 27 ACT. You should be good.

Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1471116-chance-brutha-wake-uva-michigan-usc-tech.html

IU: Low match (if you were in-state then it would have been a safety)

You have really good scores and ECs for getting into Indiana. Overall, it’s not really hard to get into, plus you’re out of state which makes them more money. It’s got some really good schools, and although it’s a bit of a party college, there’s still an enthusiasm for learning.
