So I have completed all aspects of my Indiana University Common Application. The IU application requires you include a writing supplement, but not the personal essay. It does, however, give you the option to include the personal essay. Is it better to include the personal essay or will it just hurt me?
It won’t hurt you, but it may not help. Similar to the letters of reference…they don’t require any, but it won’t hurt to include one.
