How is recruiting for Kelley? Is it better for finance then something like babson or bentley? How is the campus life? I see a lot of people recuit there but do a lot of kids jobs or is it just the top? I like there investment banking workshop

it's just the top students that get banking jobs. as for campus life, students there have told me there's really nothing to do but study. it's the midwest, what do you expect.. haha.

for ibanking or capital markets ull need at least a 3.5, big 4 u cant go wrong there, mc is descent and will get much better, but to get the coveted jobs you cant be an average joe you have to be in the upper level of ur class

"for ibanking or capital markets ull need at least a 3.5, big 4 u cant go wrong there"

at least a 3.75, to be safe.

Just take a look at their websites. IU doesn't have anything to hide.

I'd guess thats better than Babson or Bentley. As far as campus life goes IU apparently has a 500,000 square foot student union. So I'm sure you'd find something interesting in there.

http://www.imu.indiana.edu/index.html

IU is also apparently heavily into fitness:

But if you're seriously interested I say visit. I've heard the campus (and the girls) are quite beautiful.

now, IU has to work on the "prestige" factor............maybe they should start to have a higher admission standard?

they need to get their CAS programs stronger, and yes admission standards should become tighter to increase the prestige...also for big 4 recruiting at iu u def dont need a 3.75 ppl have 3.3s from iu nd get into big 4

Nothing to do but study? IU has 40,000 students - there's plenty of stuff going on, not to mention the parties. True, Bloomington is no Chicago, but the campus still has plenty of stuff.

i don't know. i asked several students that attended iu-bloomington, and they said there's nothing to do.

i guess the ppl u asked dont like parties, concerts, and stuff

Indiana is the #7 party school in the nation. How is there "nothing to do"?

Speak of the devil.

These new standards aren't going to make it much better. Preference is given to students with a 1012SAT? If they want to be comparable to other schools, they'll have to do alot more.

Agreed. but i have faith in IU, even tho i dont even go there.
