I was wondering how many other Indians got accepted to UIUC.
I got into CS, CoE (my first choice) and I’m from Mumbai. It’d be great if there are others from my city!
I’m from Mumbai too! I got in for CS, but I’m waiting for decisions from ivies and the likes before committing.

@anotherdude Your ECs are crazy good, with the research and everything. How did you manage to get opportunities to work with those people?
On another note - what weird evaluation policy does UIUC have for Indians?

I was accepted for Engineering Physics at UIUC.
I was accepted at UIUC for Psychology. But in all probability i’m not attending UIUC because of the location

@ub1997 Nope that’s not the reason. Thing is Champaign Urbana doesn’t have much to do except partying and cornfields all around. I want a university which is in proximity to a city. Been accepted to a few of that sort so i guess it’s cool

We are from Bangalore. My daughter was accepted to CS (CoE) as James scholar. She prefers California, so depends on if she gets into a good UC.

Prolly won’t attend UIUC since I got into UMich. I’m holding off from accepting my offer just on the off chance that I do get into the ivies :’)
