I don’t think I will qualify for financial aid. Should I still respond on the applications that I wil will apply? Do I need to respond the same to all schools on the common app? The state schools there is no way I would get. But maybe with the private? Not sure how to handle.
Just because you don’t think you will qualify for aid doesn’t mean that you won’t qualify. You need to talk to your parents about this. Have you and/or your parents run any NPC’s? Do you have any siblings in college? Are the schools you are applying to need blind? Will you need loans? You need to answer these questions.
All freshman are eligible for $5500 in subsidized/unsubsidized loans, but in order to get these, the FAFSA needs to be filled out, which means that you would check the “yes” box.
