Indication of Penn's review process?

I noticed a difference in the notification letter of missing materials in the official thread of upenn transfer. But seems no one replied to my question. So I'm gonna re-post it:

Seems that most of you guys got a notification in the following format

"Thank you for your application for transfer admission to the University of Pennsylvania. In order to complete your file, we are in need of the following materials from you that are checked/ticked below with an "X" next to the item."

(with all parts listed)

But I got:

"Thank you for your application for transfer admission to the University of Pennsylvania. We are in the process of reviewing your application and have noticed the following materials are missing. In order to complete your file, we are in need of the following materials from you.

APPLICATION MATERIALS:
We need your Mid-Term grade report (Form 4)."

Did anyone get the same notification as mine? I thought it indicates that they "are" going through my application pretty early, isn't it?

not quite, expect a decision sometime between May 16th, and May 30th based on how early you turned in your application

yeah, i received the same notification as you... and it's probably no big deal...

no indication = good sign?

i got the same message as you, but i turned my application in the last day possible, so i doubt that i would be in the first batch... who knows though. we're all just making random conjectures as to how they're doing the reviewing process, anyway.

I am applying to Wharton as a transfer..my sister went there..i don't if that helps or anything but im just throwing it out there.. I don't know if my stats are good enough though.. I am currently a freshman at UCR - University of California Riverside, I am getting a 3.91 this quarter..I got a 1960 on my SATs and have a pretty low high-school GPA

Collegeguy is right. Last year, if I remember correctly, Penn sent out decisions in three-four different waves, which went well into June.

Wow, you guys have applied already?
