Hey Byerly-
In your list of 2009 Ivy RD admit rates, where did Penn go?

Thanks, btw, for the info!

Left out inadvertently, and you can't edit after the fact here, unfortunately.

what are the top 3 concentrations competition wise. this is my guess

1.science/math related
2.economics/business
2.premed

Byerly, spelling archAeologist like that, you definately won't be admitted. *L

you are kidding, right?

EAS, spelling "definately" like that, you definitely shouldn't be laughing at other people's spelling.

Coureur, you too old to understand irony?

Martinibluex, yes I was kidding. Making a joke correcting someone while making a mistake myself....thus being ironic about Byerly's mistake while correcting someone else. Wow that really went over some people's heads.

EAS- something you have to be rather careful about on online boards is humor; for most it whooshes.

Nice try EAS. But your attempt at retrieving yourself would be a lot more convincing if you didn't also misspell it the same way in other posts:

Or are you using irony every time you write that word?

Yep, every single time. Now what I wonder is, are you trying to save the fact you're an adult who wastes her time here searching through all of people's posts rather than having a life by this post?

Hey, anyone can make a spelling error, and everyone makes typos -- including me. But when I see someone indulging a pointless spelling flame while making spelling errors of their own, I call them on it. And then if they further compound their foolishness by trying to claim the whole was intentional when it obviously wasn't, well I call them on that too -- and document it with their own words.

EAS clearly subscribes to the Vince Lombardi maxim: "the best defense is a good offense!"

Getting pointless.
