<p>hey, i was wondering if anyone knows more about the individual concentration program, and the ups/downs about it. cuz i'm planning to major in international relations or poli sci, but leaning more towards the former. an IR major isn't offered at umich tho, is it easy to design your own major?</p>
<p>I'm not doing IR, but if I end up at umich I plan on designing my own major. I talked to an LSA advisor about it and they help you declare it, and from what I know, a concentration is good because it's more qualified than a minor but not the workload of a major.</p>
<p>But if you plan on doing IR and you're from MI, MSU has a much better program...</p>
<p>well i'm an international and i really like umich overall, except it doesn't have my major..
should i still apply?
and btw does umich have a good poli sci program?</p>
