<p>Just received word from parents waiting at the parking lot inside the gate. They will try to have the 2010 cadets march past the parents & VIP's, but no parade because of storms that keep rolling through. Don't expect any internet video with this weather.</p>
<p>Thanks for updating me, my wife is one of those people waiting and she is not answering her cell!!</p>
<p>Apparently, the plebes came out in formation, marched around the perimeter of the parking lot twice (past the parents) and headed inside Ackerman Hall to hear briefings etc from the visiting Congressmen etc. The kids were proud and very appreciative of the parents who were able to brave the rain.</p>
<p>I guess I left work early for nothing! Thanks to all the parents that tried and hopefully they will get a few pictures.</p>
<p>Yes, the people who were there at the parking lot did take some pictures and video. Maybe the can post some tomorrow, when they return home. The meeting at Ackerman was only for the cadets, not parents.</p>
<p>Ironically, the parents who were able to see the plebes march by in the parking probably got much closer to the plebes than if they had been up high in the stands.</p>
<p>NUTS! I so wanted to see it too. Oh well, now your guys will enjoy parent's week-end that much more. :)</p>
