Indoc Parade Webcast

Does anybody know how to login to watch the parade webcast? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!!

kp10mom, the USMMA Parents page post seems to address this issue by implying the log-in won't be a problem at the time of the webcast. The post has been changed as follows:

"Parents, family and friends are encouraged to attend the Indoctrination Parade on Friday 21 July at 1600. Those who cannot attend can view the parade at

"This link will bring up Windows Media Player to view the parade.
It will only be live at the time of the parade.
Sorry but no plebe candidate interaction is allowed at the parade."

I guess I didn't read it correctly. Thanks for your help!

"At time of broadcast no login or password would be required."

Cool LFWBDad. I think I remember our Rep saying that he'd never been to USMMA, so thats great. Hoping it doesn't rain it out..... :(

We just got the word from some parents who have been waiting for the parade. This is due to on & off thunderstorms & rain. Apparently, the 2010 cadets will march by the group of parents & guests, but no official parade.

So you will not likely see any online video if you are trying.

From Great Neck weather:
"Light thunderstorms and rain
"Showers and thunderstorms are beginning to become more numerous across the region this afternoon. The current airmass is very warm and humid and showers and thunderstorms will continue developing through the rest of the afternoon. These showers and thunderstorms will have the capacity to create very heavy downpours...leading to rapid ponding on area roadways and poor drainage flooding problems. In addition...some of the thunderstorms may cause brief gusty winds and dangerous cloud to ground lightning."

Yes, apparently they have told some of the parents that they would need two hours notice of non thunderstorms & lightning before they could possibly reschedule, so they have cancelled it.
