Indoc

Indoc for C/O 2012. Very soon now. Congrats to you all !

Parents: They will be fine. They will get everything they need.

Funny story(I hope): I took the big zoom lens (or super zooms work great too). If it LOOKED like it could be my kid going between buildings, I snapped a pic. FINALLY, one of them WAS my kid. He is marching/being escorted to his room my his DI. He squares the corners smartly. He is barking out his response to her commands.

He is also carrying a HUGE white bag with tons of stuff he's just been issued. It is full. He had been issued the bag. Mom and Dad sooo proud of the boy. We have the pic framed... our last shot of him, before he disappears into his new home.

We have a 8x10 pic framed on the table. His buddies drop by... we show them our last glimpse of our son... They jest, "It.. It looks like he's a garbage man.. that bag is sooo big".. hahahaha.

NEVER be too proud. :) There's always more than one way to look at a situation. And, you can ALWAYS count on your friends to knock you down to size:)

The only thing NOT issued that you'll need : 'a good attitude'. Be sure to bring yours.

Right after indoc is the best time to be proud of your USMMA candidates. Indoc will seem like forever for them. Be sure to send them many letters, preferably scented. When your write their name, make sure you put Midshipman in the title. The DI's love that.
