Hello,
I am currently in junior at University of Michigan studying mechanical engineering, and minoring in art & design. I have a 3.0 GPA, with hopes to increase that in my remaining 4 semesters.

I would like to study industrial design in grad school, and am currently putting together a list of schools to apply to. The top ID schools - which would be reaches for me, obviously - are easy to find online on various ranking sites. I am having a harder time finding target and safety grad schools for industrial design, and their application requirements. ?

Does anyone who is familiar with this process or field have any recommendations? Also, I have noticed that some schools offer a Master of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts, both in industrial design. Any reason I should go one way and not the other?

Thank you so much!
