Hi, I’m interested in attending GT next year as an industrial engineering major. However, I’m not so sure that I can handle the rigor - I’ve heard that it’s unbelievably difficult. My high school is one of the best in GA and is extremely competitive and hard, so I’m used to a tough educational environment, but I’m curious as to how difficult particularly the industrial engineering curriculum is? I’m pretty good at math and very interested in business, but am not so good on the science (physics particularly) side of things. How science heavy is industrial engineering? I’m also hoping to have a fun college experience with a sorority and exploring ATL. Will this be possible if I am taking on an industrial engineering course load? Let me know what you think. Don’t get me wrong, I’m willing to work and put in lots of effort, but I don’t want to end up spending every minute of my time studying. Please let me know about your experiences with IE!
