Is it better to major in Industrial engineering or a Business major?

What are your plans for a career?

I always wanted to be in a top management position and i love what industrial engineers do, improving , evaluating how to work efficiently etc.

Which degree would be a lot more rewarding?

Well if you love what they do, why don't you undergrad industrial engineering?
And then go for a MBA in grad school...

Go engineering. You aren't going to get into top management right out of undergrad regardless. Many CEOs have marketing, accounting, or finance backgrounds. However, more have an operations background.

If your career plateaus or you decide you want to get into another line of work, you can always return for your MBA later.

GPA, GPA, GPA. If you are a superstar, then by all means -- Engineering. But if you think that you're likely to better of in Business, than do it.
