Industrial Engineering vs. Management

Hello everyone!

I've recently been accepted to Georgia Tech and plan on attending. I've narrowed my selection of majors to Industrial Engineering and Management. I was wondering from you guys what the main differences are between the two because they seem rather similar to me. In terms of classes I will take and jobs/pay, how do they differ? Thanks for any responses!

I'd imagine management will be significantly more qualitative, and industrial engineering is very quantitative.

Id like to know as well.

The starting salary for IE majors is 51-55G here in NY.

management is useless imo, industrial engineering will get you better busienss jobs....if your willing to do the work and are smart enough for IE, then just minor in management> Itll be a joke
