I saw this college and from what Ive read it seems to be everything I've ever imagined in the perfect school. However, I was wondering what your own opinions are on the school.

1) What is the actual base curiculum?

2) Can it prepare you well for a career in law?

1) ilr.cornell.edu

2) 1/3 (give or take) of its graduates go on to law school…some law schools like ILR students more than others

Alas, the internet is our friend:

1) [ILR Student Services: Summary of Curriculum Requirements](http://www.ilr.cornell.edu/studentservices/curriculum/requirements/summary.html)

2) [ILR Undergraduate Admissions: Employers and Schools](http://www.ilr.cornell.edu/admissions/careers/employers.html#schools)
1/3 of the school applies to law schools, and you can see (from the right hand side) how well they tend to do.

LOL ResurgamBell I didn’t see your post when I started looking for the links for mine but I love how we have pretty much the same response.

It’s funny I was looking over this thread right now:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/cornell-university/685529-transfering-ilr-aem-cas-econ-general-ilr-questions.html?highlight=Questions</a></p>

and I realized how much more I’ve learned about this program and Cornell in just the past few months (with a large portion of the teaching coming from you and others among this board haha).

how exactly can it be “everything you’ve ever imagined in the perfect school” and then ask an elementary question like “what is the base curriculum”??

LOL!

i do think it is sad that many people do ILR just for the fact that they hear it has a good law school admissions rate.

Im sorry, I knew all that I just should have worded better. Is there anyone here who has gone to the college who has any insight about it and how it set them up?

thanks though for posting the links

i dont think anyone is SET UP by having an ILR Degree…

you still have to work hard and or network
