Industrial Technology?

I recently finished my first year at San Jose State as an undeclared student (basically took all GEs, bad I know) and I'm looking to declare my major. I was looking through the list and basically all of the engineerings are more or less impacted except for a few which included a Bachelor's in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Computer Electronics and Network Technology. I don't really understand this degree but I've done a bit of research and apparently it's kind of like half business half engineering, basically an engineering major for people who aren't great at math (like me).

I'm just wondering if this is a good major or if it looks to be a waste of my time. Any information like difficulty, jobs, experiences, etc. would be great!

I’d like to see a few more software classes, but other than that, it actually looks like a pretty good program.

I know San Jose State works with companies in Silicon Valley to come up with degrees that produce employable graduates, and Industrial Technology seems to be a result of that.
