Yes, I know that this has been debated endlessly on the October SAT CR thread. Yes, many have come to the consensus that "undesirable" is the correct choice. However, in order to come to the best consensus possible, there needs to be coherent discussion on the topic. On the CR thread, strong arguments and counter-arguments for and against each were made but subsequently interrupted by someone introducing a new question. Give reasons for or against inevitable/undesirable for the rewilding question, preferably citing the text (if anyone has a link to the text that would be helpful).

If it’s inevitable, then the author wouldn’t make suggestions on how to avoid it.

i think this is settled, so i doubt anyone will begin to debate this question again. Just go back to the forum and search specific posts.

Does anyone else think that the October 2010 CR thread broke a record with its number of posts? I don’t think any other official SAT test CR thread had that many pages.

What was the exact question asking?

look, the passage talked about how rewilding was the best way to help the animals. he described a scenario which involved not doing that. since the way to solve the problem is rewilding, it is not inevitable it is just undesirable.
