Is it possible to find inexpensive summer study abroad (1500 or below)? For a 3-4 week program in Spain, France, or Israel... or really ANYWHERE? Any input would be wonderful.

You can't even get airfare half the time for that price. You could try for a scholarship but the cheapest sticker price (before airfare, spending money, etc) was $4000 for 3 weeks in Spain.

This is without airfare that I'm looking for.

The most inexpensive trip I could find was Brazil, for $2,700.

Your best bet for that price range is to cut out the middle-man and make arrangements directly with the school in the foreign country. It's typically the same university as the more expensive programs use, but with less hand-holding (included excursions, being met at the airport, etc.) But it can literally save you thousands of dollars!

If you want to go to France, for example, check out these:

When I went to a study abroad fair, many people from other study abroad organizations had gone with this program because it was the cheapest. They only had good things to say.
