<p>I just realized that the word limit for one of my essays was 250 words, not 150 words (before the supplement came out, they said ~10 lines, which is about 150 wds).... So now I have about 100 words extra. Do you have any suggestions about how to lengthen my essays? .... more details, I guess..?? I don't want it to get off-topic, though.</p>
<p>First, a limit just means that you shouldn't go above it, not that you have to reach it, so only lengthen it if you feel you have something more to say. With that being said, if you really want to expand your essay, read it over a few times, maybe have someone else look at it, and see what is missing or what is interesting enough that someone might want more information about it.</p>
