Info about CHSPE?

<p>My daughter (I am using her account) is taking the CHSPE tomorrow, and I just wanted to ask some questions about it to get a feel for it.
Is there more than enough time for you to finish the test, or do test-takers generally feel rushed?</p>

<p>How difficult is it?</p>

<p>Can you leave if you finish early?
My daughter's on a tight schedule, she has to be somewhere else at 1:00 PM, and I'm hoping she can get out by 12:00 but I don't know if she can finish in time...</p>

<p>What was your experience taking this test?</p>

<p>My D is taking the CHSPE tomorrow as well. I think the test ticket that came in the mail said something about being able to leave when you are finished. I don’t know anyone who has taken it nor does my D.
My D did not prep for the test. She looked over some of the language questions and feels she will be able to pass that portion. She isn’t sure about the Math. My D is hoping to pass the two language sections this time and work on her Math and take that portion in June.
We are not really in favor of our D leaving HS early so even if she passes she will be returning to grade 11 in the fall at her public school. I would be more willing to think about it in a year. But I am trying to have an open mind. First step is passing the test.</p>

<p>My D is in 11th grade so opting out of senior year won’t be a huge issue.</p>

<p>She’s taking it at Santa Clara HS, I wonder how many kids will be there.</p>

<p>For identification, is a photo ID acceptable or do I need a signed form from my school as well???</p>
