Hey everyone! I just applied to these two schools on LA campuses for a BFA in acting and was wondering if I could gather whatever information and experiences you guys have with them. Are the schools in a good area?what are the acceptance rates? How were your audition experiences? What questions were asked in the interview? How long after your auditions did you receive a verdict? Thank you for your help :)

AADA doesn’t grant a BFA – it’s a two year program, with a possibility for a third. You can finish up with a BA by taking classes at local colleges. See here: http://www.aada.edu/academics/la_degrees.html My daughter auditioned and was accepted with scholarship about two weeks later. She said the audition was really relaxed. She performed her monologues for one woman and then they had a very informal interview. It is a good training school, but not a true BFA conservatory school. The campus is in a really nice part of town, but there are no dorms so you need to find your own housing. Good luck on your journey.
