Info on Marshall and Warren

My top choices will be Marshall and Warren, and I’m gonna apply for Elec. Engineering.

Would you give me any helpful information on these two, for the topics such as study atmosphere, social scene, percentage of male & female population, competition in GE classes, and etc…

I heard that there so many engineering students in Warren College. How many percent is engineering students, and what advantages do engineering students have with Warren? Marshall is good for engineering major?

If you attend or have attended one of these, please tell me about your experience. Thanks…

if your gonna dorm go dorm in warren. they have the nicest dorm rooms.

and warren is the engineering college

Marshall GEs are more rigorous than Warren's, especially the core writing course DOC or Dimensions of Culture. I am not sure about the female/male percentages. As to the social atmosphere, Marshall students are generally very politically active and socialble around campus, more so than Warren's. Hope that helps.

After taking the tour it seemed that Warren is only associated with engineering because it's close to the engineering buildings, not because almost all of the engineers resided there.

^ the warren college ge's are engineering friendly. like the ge's will allow you to switch between engineering majors more easily than other colleges.
