Just got offered a double at Saxon Suites...if anyone has any information regarding social life, dorm quality/size, location or any other information that would be great. Thanks.

I got offered a triple there. I stayed there a couple weeks ago. The rooms are pretty nice a bit smaller than plazas, though. The hallway and living room (at least for mine) was grimy and plain, but at least it’s more space… The plaza I was in was extremely social (people were knocking on the door until 3 am). This is all just from one experience though…

Hmm…so you decided to leave and live in a plaza instead? I guess its good that the rooms are nice and I’m pretty happy with a double (did not really want a triple). Also is it true that it’s secluded? Thanks for the reply.

saxon suites is located across the street behind rieber hall. As I remember they used to have a volleyball court there a lot of people would use.
It’s a bit far, but not as far as the hedrick/hitch combo.
The suites do tend to be a bit older and not as well furnished. They are generally not as social, and there are fewer people to meet with the only real central congregation area being the place where you do your laundry.
For meals, social study lounges and most activities you will have to head to one of the dining residence halls.
