Info on UC Davis Welcome Day

What’s the Welcome Program and Student Panel? Is it a whole audience listening to a speaker presentation format or what?

What about the Student Services Fair, do you just walk around from table to table picking up brochures and talking to reps at the individual tables?

wait so there's another welcome day? is it the same thing that went on april 6 and 7?

haha nate cali i noticed you changed your location from harvard to yale. whats next...stanford? =)

not stanford, i'm now at........... princeton. :)

Wow, the turnout is even greater than I thought. Since today is a Friday and not a weekend, I thought not that many people will show up. I estimated there to be about 1,500 people total in the auditorium. I went with my mom, and she loved the campus, especially the massive bike population.

The campus is so large and its gets tiring walking from one place of the campus to the other. Everyone seems very friendly and the atmoshphere is so relaxed. What I mean is that there are tons of student sleeping on the lawn outside the Memorial Union. There were lots of them just lying on the grass studying, it seems so peaceful. The arboretum was really cool and a nice getaway from central campus and a good place to release stress by watching the ducks playing in the pond.

Overall, I love the whole college town environment. I really felt at home when I arrived on campus. I'm anxious for September but at the same time nervous also because it's going to be an academically challenging environment, and I hope I have the aptitude to do well and succeed there.

my thoughts exactly nate cali. im so ecstatic that it's nauseating at times lol
