info

hi, i just wanted some info on peperdine's SAT/ACT scores. they seem to have pretty average scores and was wondering if they look heavily upon them? i got a 24 on my ACT the first time and will hopefullly get it up to a 28 (or around there ) but does pepperdine look more at high school grades than test scores? i hope so because i have around a 3.7 GPA (uw), im president of the business club, on the varsity crew team, in the newspaper, and will have completed my school's minimum of 15 hours of service in junior year and will complete 100 hours of service in senior year (or more). i just finished junior year and will be working on improving my ACT score since pepperdine accepts that instead of SAT, but do you think i would have any chance at pepperdine with a 24 on the ACT or a 27-28 range score? also, this summer i am in the process of completing a 7 week internship at a money managing firm in santa fe, new mexico. i am from a private Jesuit school in New York (which is, i assume, unfavorable for pepperdine admission???) so i spent a summer in new mexico working as an intern at a money managing firm. i assume this looks good but is it what pepperdine is looking for? i dont have any church involved activities to put on my application like some other people, but i am religious. please let me know about my possible chances of getting inito pepperdine and what i should work on to improve. thank you so much for any replies.

It definetely helps to be religious - try to get a recommendation from your pastor/priest. Are you thinking about taking the SATs?
You have great extracurriculars!

thanks for the reply. i have taken the SAT before but i really dont like the format of it and i like the ACT much better. im studying and going to get a tutor for the ACT over the summer so hopefully that helps.
