When I said "Please disregard religious/family-related drinking and only consider social drinking.", I meant that I'm not counting "a glass of wine with the parents".

In any case, I can't say I'm terribly surprised by the amount CC drinks.

Wow, from what I have read from **************.com, some of you saying "1" AND going to well known "party schools" are going to have a difficult time blending in and finding friends! (No offense, but merely stating the facts!)

Boston University.

Somebody started a "Non-party people" thread on the BU Facebook group. It's about a 6th of the size of the "Can we get some boozers up in here" thread.

is there something higher than six? :D

well i'm a junior, but an extremely competitive applicant for next year so i expect that ill get into at least one good school.
i probably drink 2/3x a month. at my school even the chinese kids going to penn/yale/mit/stanford drink occasionally

2, going to Cornell. I'd be higher with a bit more freedom though, so probably a 4 or so next year.

No social drinking for me and only two instances of family stuff.
5 yr old - had a sip of beer - it was DISGUSTING. Maybe cause it was chinese haha...
18th Bday - had this vodka drink at a resturant - i really couldn't tell what was so special about alcohol.

I don't know, alcohol just doesn't sing to me for some reason.

^maybe because you're...smart?

1, Harvard here as well

Please, just because someone enjoys a bit of alcohol sometimes, does not make them an idiot. If you're going to patronize people who want to use drugs (yes, alcohol counts as a drug), you should also realize Timothy Leary, a lecturer at Harvard, was one of the biggest proponents of using hallucinogens during the early sixties.

Them? Anyway...I said he smart for not drinking, not the other way around...IDK what you're reading into, but either way you're wrong. To quote "Unforgivable":

WHAT DAT SMELL LIKE

It's not about the taste of alcohol. It about what alcohol does to your body.
