I am trying to understand from kids who chose information science or informatics as a major and since this is a relatively new major, what factors did you consider before choosing this major? When looking at program curriculums I do see quite a bit of CS classes so how does this differ much from a CS major and eventually from a job and career perspective what are the options with this major?
