Hi,
I am very interested in pursuing MS In CS from Stanford esp the research track. From Stanford website here is the exact language of the program “To give such students a greater opportunity to become familiar with research, the department has a program leading to a master’s degree with distinction in research.” This is exactly what I am hoping for.
I searched a lot on this forum and also on reddit to find basic information
a) How hard is it to get into this program? Are there any stats provided on admission rates?
b) How is this program? Some people view Masters programs as a cash cow for universities. I am genunienly interested in doing advanced course work and more importantly research.
Anyone provide feedback on their experiences with this program in terms of courses, research and admissions?
