Hello,

Does MIT conduct national info sessions and if so, can a schedule of state and intended time of visit be supplied?

I recommend you vist the MIT Admissions website where you will find such information. In the "MIT & You" section you will see a schedule of all Fall info sessions, domestic and international. Some of these sessions are already completed for the season, but there are always info sessions on campus if you find yourself there sometime.

of course! I can't wait until they come to my area this Thursday :)

Here's a list:

Oh, excellent, thanks a lot. I just remembered that they sent a postcard back in the summer and I was able to dig it up just now and find the provided username and password. But thanks for reminding me!

I went to the colorado one last night. It was very interesting.

Yeah, I was blown away by tonight's one in Dallas.... I loved it.

We had one here in Michigan and it was phenomenal. There's more info on my blog. (http://www.xanga.com/shmor)

Heh, now you guys really make me want to skip school so I can attend (due to the fact that I live in the middle of nowhere...)

First and foremost, the MIT information session was AWESOME. My parents were throwing a party at our house that night so just my mom came with me (that, and my dad is still afraid of me considering east coast schools- I might become a "flaming liberal"). Before the meeting, she told me she was staying 45 minutes and then leaving. She stayed the whole 2 hours, including questions from the crowd. Yeah, it was that awesome.

After the Session:
MOM: Those hags were really funny. I wonder how they got a police car on the top of that dome?
YOURS TRULY: HACKS, Mom. Not hags.

Haha. Thanks for providing that :)

Haha no problem. I figured someone would enjoy it.
