Informing Columbia of an award after the deadline?

So, today, I received a letter telling me that I'd won the Superintendent Academic Excellence Award, which is given to two people. I applied ED, so I can't update my application online anymore, of course.

I'm sure that it's not wildly prestigious, but it's still something. Should I bother informing Columbia about it? If so, how would I do that? Just send them an email?

It's not really something. Those kind of awards don't really say anything more than that you have good grades. CU already has your transcript. Don't bug them again.

unless it's a scholarship reward, don't bother.

Thanks for the feedback. (:
