Hi guys! I was thinking about applying to the Ingram Scholarship–yes I know its due in about 10 days–but was wondering if the application for the Scholarship has anything to do with getting into the university. Even if I don’t get the scholarship does the application and the essays I wrote for the scholarship help show the undergraduate admissions office more about me and help with my application? Or can it hurt if I don’t get the scholarship? Or are the people looking as to whether or not I am good enough to get the scholarship the same people that are looking at my application? Thanks in advance.
I think you should apply to the school and for the scholarship if you are interested, and don’t worry about these questions. Vanderbilt has become very very difficult to gain acceptance to in recent years, and getting this scholarship is even harder. Fill out the application and then try and forget about it (I know it is hard!). Good luck!
