Yeah everyone needs to complete Gateway modules before they can sign up for foundations.
You don’t sign up for Foundation till mid-October though

tutu982 is correct, registration for Foundation sessions will not be open until late October and in regards to your question about taking courses at UF during the fall term, you can take up to 12 credit hours during your fall connection term. You can contact your advisor if you have any questions about registration. Additionally, IA students are restricted to certain course in the Fall, more information on what classes you are able to take can be found at the University of Florida Registrar’s schedule of courses site. Look for the “Innovation Academy Courses” link for a complete list of online courses you are eligible to take, just note some of the pre-requisites for the courses.

Alex23, congratulations on your daughter’s acceptance into the University of Florida! Last year the dates for foundation were December 10th and January 3rd. This year’s dates are December 2,6 and January 3. In my experience from registering for online classes, they tend to have more seats available since the material is delivered through UF’s e-learning website. When I went to foundations last year, there were only a handful of courses that we were allowed to choose from. I’m happy to see that the list has grown significantly over the year. If you or your daughter would like to see a list of courses that are available over the fall term, you can refer to the Schedule of Courses listed on UF Registrar’s website, then look under “Innovation Academy Courses”. Let me know if you or any others have any other questions.

Well that’s not fair. We are limited on online classes too?

When you went to preview, you were given a list of courses that you could take for fall connection. I’m not sure if that is the full list because those courses were chosen because they were most suitable for the incoming class. If you would like to take a course that is not on that list, you can look at the registar’s website here: [UF Registrar](Office of the University Registrar) and look through the Innovation Academy courses and their pre-reqs.

remember, you were able to take up to 6 credits for $600. I think the new class has more options, but at their full expense (and why some online classes are more than physical classrooms is a mystery yet to be explained satisfactorily).

the class of 2016, how was Foundations for you all? did you get the classes you wanted? did you get those classes in the times and days you wanted?
