Input please...early!?

hey guys, thank you so much for your help =)

i have a bit of a dilemma…

so far, i have 2290 sats (800 m 770 cr 720 w) and around a 94 average. i will be taking math, lit, and maybe spanish sat2s in october. i am applying to national art honor society next week and i’ll probably find out by mid-october if i get in, and i am working on my girl scout gold award, which i seriously doubt will be finished by november 1.

here’s the problem.
there is no doubt in my mind that i want to go to brown, and i would love to apply there early decision. however, do you think that it would be better for me to bring my grades up a bit and get everything else done before i apply (to regular decision), or would ed be better so i can show them that i’m truly interested?
thanks!

Will your app be stronger in November or January?

that’s what i’m not sure about- i’ll lose the whole “oh hey she really wants to be here” part but other parts of my app may be better

If you think the girlscout award will have a significant impact on your application, apply RD. There’s a thread out there suggesting ED at Brown really dosn’t make that big of a difference (partly because it is so self-selecting).

Personally, I would wait.
