<p>Ok What are my Chances, im still a junior so I still have sometime to change etc.</p>
<p>General Stats: Im an Indian guy in Central Wisconsin (i was born in Buffalo NY and have lived in Cali, and AZ also) My dad is a doctor so money isnt really a concern. (were not rich enough to donate a building) Im pretty nice, im not stuck up, im pretty modest, i like long walks on the beach, and hate I fake people. In short im a centerfold minus the hot lol.</p>
<p>Grades-Mostly B's for the freshman year and first semester of sophmore year. 2nd semester of sophmore year and now, Straight A's
Cum GPA is 4.3 w, but Semester GPA is 5/5
Rank is 34 out of 360 (frosh grades/soph grades killed it.)
Im taking/have been taking the most rigorous course possible, no one else's (in my school) course load is as tough as mine (GC said so)
Ive had all honors classes (except for the the required regulars ones) and a lot of aps. i took the most aps out of anyone last year (3 for soph year) and i took a bunch this year. I will have 10 ap courses by the end of my junior year. senior year is going to have a bunch also. So far, i have gotten a 4, 4, and a 3. Im betting i will get mostly 4's this year also.
There is an upward trend in my grades, first i was getting B's etc. in honors classes, but now ive kicked it into gear and im getting all A's in Ap classes. i hope they dont toss me out for my terrible early performance. I think they will look at it as a good sign, but it would be great if you could give me advice on grades/rank/gpa. also i have time to improve my cum gpa also.</p>
<p>Standardized tests-I havn't taken any yet. Ive taken some kaplan practice sat's and im getting a 620 M, 620 V, and a 690 W. They tend to be higher like 650, 650 and 730, but im just estimating lower because thats what i got on my last practice one. I havnt taken any Sat2's, but because im taking Physics, Spanish, and Math2 (or something like that) i expect a 650, 700-750 and a 650-700. Im taking the Act also, but i havn't preped for it (im taking the december ones! do i need to prep for act??</p>

Health Octupations Of America (Hosa)-only seniors can be pres but i have a good shot
Spanish Club-(only seniors can be pres i have a good shot)
National Ocean Sciences Bowl-(this is the first year i have a good shot to be one of the 5 who get on the team/we ussually win state and place in nationals)
Forensics-Gold at state (there was no national comp)
Mock Trial (first year i dont know what to expect)
Deca (buisness related club)-(first year)
Yearbook-theres no special awards but im pretty active
Newspaper-Im the opinion page editor
Chess Club-im not sure i want to do this, but i have a good shot for office
Culture Club-im founding it also, im most likely going to be pres
Dont do drugs,alcohol and ciggerettes club-im founding this too, i havnt picked name (tatu, sadd etc.)
A freshmen help club-im founding it, were going to advise freshmen on stuff (its cooler then it sounds)
I ran the chicago marathon
2 years (so far) of JV track-i won gold medals, but it was JV (im a high jumper) i doubt im good enough for Varsity (i used to be)
Im will be a 2nd degree blackbelt soon (6 years when i apply)
i was nominated for a teen charecter award from the ymca-the judges said i have a good shot to win next year (in private to me)
i was/am a volenteer at this work place for the mentally challenged-im the only high school vollenteer they've had in 3-4 (maybe more) years
i volenteer for the ymca a lot.</p>
<p>Um i have another problem rising from this-i did jack squat as a frosh and soph so its coming back to bite me. The only EC's i had as a frosh was taekwondo and track. Then as a soph i added forensics, and started vollenteer work over the summer. then this year im doing a bunch. do you think colleges will think im sucking up to them? i hope not, im doing these activities because i have the time and the desire to do them (seriously) someone at the harvard board said i need to cut back on ec's. anyone have an opinion on this?</p>
<p>What do yall think?? do i have a shot at HYPS? Do you think Madison would make a good safety for me? Do you have any idea for schools i can get into/would like to be in with these stats? Sorry that was so long/ hard to read. Thank you sooooo much!!! Btw: Im a big boy, you can be brutal, but be supportive as well. I posted this in the Yale section also, just so you know.</p>
